Energy/Environmental Economics - Regulatory Economics - Auctions
Our clients work in competition and privatization matters in both energy and environmental economics.

Our assignments in energy economics are broad and include searches for candidates with experience in  oil and gas, electricity markets, and regulatory impacts in the energy space.  Our energy clients work in market design, transmission and distribution systems, and pricing and regulatory matters.   We also place candidates with experience with mergers and acquisitions, investment, and auctions.  We work with firms with strategy and valuation advisory groups, restructuring and other financial services specifically related to energy; and firms in the trading and financing areas related to energy companies.

In the environmental area, our clients deal with issues of climate change, water, and air quality.  Their work is in compliance, litigation, and strategy.  In this area we are interested in candidates who have excellent econometric and modeling skills who have applied them in environmental contexts.

Our regulatory assignments are also varied, and we seek candidates who have public utility experience at the U.S. state level and those with experience with matters before FERC , the EPA and other U.S. agencies.  Our client list is increasingly global in nature, and we have assignments for those candidates with experience especially in EU environmental issues.  In this area, we seek candidates familiar with regulatory institutions and methods related to regulators and governments.

Our clients who are seeking experienced economists in auctions work primarily on market design and auction design and implementation.
